San Marino is the 5th smallest country in the world and only 24 square miles big. It is a small country that has one of the most beautiful views I have seen. Most people visiting Italy, use the opportunity to visit this landlocked country within Italy on a day trip.

I know you might be wondering what to do in such a small country. I have created this walking guide to make your visit easy and to highlight the most interesting things you can do while visiting San Marino.

The total walking time is estimated for 2hours without breaks. Please include breaks and photo stops for the optimal enjoyment.

This walking tour starts from the San Marino bus station (considering you came into the country by bus from Rimini) and ends in Borgo Majore (the final stop of the Funivia) where you can also take the bus returning back to Rimini.
